Mike Nifong has been disbarred and he has resigned. The three accused in the now infamous Duke Rape Case, Dave Evans, Collin Finnerty and Reade Seligmann  have been declared innocent after review. Even though these three innocent young men have been exonerated, a cloud will forever hang over their heads. However they can go on with their lives, however screwed and scared those lives are going to be as a result of this.

Has justice really been served here?

Not completely.

Justice will not really be served unless Mike Nifong and Crystal Magnum, the Duke Rape Accuser are held to account for their crime. I believe that Nifong tried to pull an Al Sharpton by whipping blacks into a frenzy by saying the rape occurred even through there was no evidence to support it, for the express purpose of winning an election. Nifong: Don't you realize that blacks will vote for any Democrat no matter who he is or what he does? You could have dropped the charges and won anyway.

As for Crystal Magnum if she is to remain on the public dole as I am sure she is today, should go ahead and stay on the public dole this time, in prison. Not only has she screwed ----- lives but will also make people hesitate to rush to the aid of other sex workers who really do get raped. Above all else, that is a crime for which she should pay dearly.
