Democrats are wagging their fingers at the President regariding the DP World (Dubai Ports World) deal to conduct operations at six ports.
Here are some new bullets:
- Hillary and other Democrats are forgetting about the fact that the Chinese run the Panama Canal. Now while this sounds like it is not a big deal, it is. Look below.
- In 1999, the Chinese took over running the canal and as a result they control shipping between the east and western hemisphere. Bill Clinton blessed it.
- Its no secret that we will defiend Taiwan should the Chinese try to unite the country by force. If that happens there will be hell to pay.
- Ummmm How do you think we are going to get supplies and warships over there? The Panama Canal of course. The Chinese can screw with our shipping and trade as well as hinder our ability to arm and/or supply any Pacific fleet defending Taiwan.
- No Democrat that I am aware of even blinked at this possibility.
The Chinese are many things. Stupid is not one of them. We have enough warships, planes and weapons in Dubai to destroy the place if they double-cross us. This deal should go through. As long as they play by the rules, it will be ok.
